My Synology RS 815+ died yesterday. Turns out it was a flag in the Intel Atom C2000 flaw. Soldering a 100 Ohm resistor brought it back to life but this made me seriously reconsider backup options. Remember to keep 3 backups, one offsite. Preferably a different continent in case of war. Meanwhile a shiny RS822+ is now accepting a rather large file transfer. [@chiefgyk3d](
