3 pt. hitches, while brilliant, may also be work of the devil. I drop the mower deck and spend a half hour trying to hook up the blade. I've got an easy hitch system but the blade doesn't stand on its own and weighs about 500 lbs., so wrestling it into place is a real bitch. I got smart and put a block of wood under the back to help it stand and that helped, after I knocked it over several times.
