I entertained this thought also:
By buying Bitcoin you make a revealed preference that Bitcoin is more worth for you right now than dollar or euro. However, both systems are governed by a minority. The Bitcoin core-, raspiblitz-, umbrel-, etc. devs and node operators are just another elite. Similar to the Fed or ECB. Thus you also make a revealed preference that you trust these people more than the people from the fed or ECB.
