It seems that they will be retaining some form of banking system.
Any funds you have over 20k will be automatically stored in a traditional style bank account.
This is probably to reduce central bank money liability whilst forcinh people to use cbdc for day to day transactions and tracking.
'Money' saved in a bank is no liability to the Central Bank but will be used for speculation by the investment banks.
