my current relationship dynamic is desperately trying to surprise gift stuff to my boyfriend only to find out he already had the thing i wanted to gift him
which, on one hand, shows that i know him well enough that i know what he loves. on the other hand i'm seething with rage because for once i want to be able to gift him something nice but he is already so perfect and awesome and already has all the cool stuff even if said thing came out 3 minutes ago
