When visiting my family in the US, I used to bring chocolate and baked goodies from Europe. Now they ask for sunscreen.
In Europe (and most of the world), sunscreen is regulated as a cosmetic. In the US, it’s regulated by the FDA as an OTC drug so the approval process is painfully slow. The FDA hasn’t approved any new sunscreen ingredients since 1999.
European sunscreen is plain better at UV protection and a number of other things. Do yourself a favour and buy sunscreen in Europe. ☀️
