I was looking at an advert for local vacuum store and was trying ti understand what a 500-800-1000 USD vacuum means compared to like the 100-300 usd models I see in a big box store. I guess a major part is simply that service and parts exist, I did see the one vacuum for 800 USD had a 10 year warranty which is quite something, but at the same time I saw 500 usd one that had a one year warranty which seems like a good reason to avoid that one. Though it seems like 3-5 year warranties are pretty common on both higher end and consumer brands.
