It's also worth keeping in mind that it's a *request* for deletion. Remote servers which have cached your posts are in a position to choose how to respond to it. Most servers probably handle it just like you'd expect, by deleting the content when they get to it, but there's no absolute guarantee that they don't take the \"please delete this post\" message as a flag to specifically keep the post around.",
