The majority of Green Party councillors on Dublin City Council voted for the SF motion to extend the eviction ban. Only two voted against, for reasons best known to themselves.
The situation in govt is different, the PP has a mandate to deliver the PfG. They can and do push for more, and have got the coalition partners to go further than the PfG on some issues despite being the smallest partner in govt, but on other issues there has to be compromise.
