We just moved to this new house, so we're not thoroughly familiar with the garden. Maybe we just lucked out. It's very sunny, and being between the house and the street might give it an extra hot microclimate. The two okra plants have 4-6 pods a day for many weeks. It's hard to keep up, and I have had to waste a few that got too big and fibrous.
We failed at fava beans and molokhia if that indicates the limits of our climate.
