#OTD 31 August 1902 Thomas Merrill Allee married Laura Anne Pryor in or near Mineral Wells, Texas. The couple had eight children, including twins named Ima and Ura. The twins' names were popular in the region at that time. Two children died young: Ura and Gilbert. The family farmed in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, before settling in Pueblo. They were my great-grandparents. Thomas died before my birth, and Laura died when I was in college.
