My three iconoclasms have their origin in my having grown up in the Left.
* I'm pro-science from growing up under a relativist faith healer cult.
* I'm pro-technology from realizing my green anarchist dad's arguments weren't universal.
* I'm pro-markets from wasting so many years of my life as an organizer dealing with collective decision-making in meetings.
A lot of folks configure their politics in opposition to the existing and stop thinking there. But their "negation" was my "existing."
