Unreal! Love hearing these stories of good habits paying off. (My family being poor and in a similar boat to you) Sometimes you do wonder if it’s worth it all. I do try to get my dad to enjoy the now more also which is what made me reflect on my own trajectory since he’s laser focussed on giving his kids a better life than he had. But as his kid I want to see him enjoy the hard work he’s put in.
I’m sure with that attitude you’ll pass on more than just money to your kids. You’ll pass on your mindset and knowledge which is arguably more important anyway.
