Yep... I was raised Seventh Day Adventist and Ellen White and her buddy John Kellogg et Al were disgusting charlatans. But we followed the Hebrew Sabbath and the Kosher and Daniel dietary rules
In the 500 year period leading to Jesus there war many other sects that sprang up, taoism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, and others... Islam was a response to the Catholic Church IMO, and the idolatry and statues of catholic Christianity are extremely contradictory, as is the changing of the Sabbath day.
