I finished my #3DS. It’s a black Japanese model with an IPS upper display that I region unlocked with custom firmware. I then installed my red shell from my old unit (which has sound output issues now, don’t ask) to make this. I’m really happy with it. It’s a looker. I may install my red shoulder buttons for a cooler look, but I’ve been modding 3DS units for weeks now and I’m tired. This is fine for now.
