I get annoyed at people that say "bless you" when I sneeze.
The word "bless" comes from an etymological root that literally translates to "blood-sign." It refers to a sick ancient practice of sprinkling or anointing someone with blood as a means of consecration. It's very cringe.
Don't do the verbal equivalent of throwing blood in my face just because I sneezed on some dust.
