Somewhat, but not fully. You have some different options to connect to various LND implementations, but that still leaves some nodes out in the cold. Like, my Rizful node doesn't allow LND connections. Instead, it has NWC built in so that I can connect it to Alby Go, Alby Wallet, Alby Browser extension, or use it as my NWC connection with Amethyst. Also, if you have a wallet with the lnwallet.app service where you get an NWC string to access your wallet, and nothing else, you can now use that string to connect it to Zeus and use Zeus as the wallet front end to control your LNwallet. Ultimately, it adds another option which makes Zeus useful and accessible for more people.
