These are very much wild mice, they live in deciduous woodland, especially coppiced woodland.
I volunteer at a registered survey, lots of licensing involved in handling them. I mainly help with the coppicing element.
Very unlikely these little mice would come into your home, it's just not their habitat. We have regular mice and rats too...
