Like a victim returning to an abuser, NHS England is contemplating private funding to deal with the massive maintenance & investment backlog around the health service's estate & infrastructure.
But, they'll find a willing ear with Rachel Reeves as she'll be keen to keep investment off the public balance sheet (even though public investment is supposed to be assets under her fiscal rules).
We've been down this road before & we (& the NAO) know where we get to!
