That also leads me to another thought. Most of us are not main characters in the story of climate change. Most of us are going to play a part by being patient, enduring and withstanding - exactly the virtues that business as usual was designed to conjure among British people under bombs.
So I'm thinking and trying to find some form of words that evokes this kind of activity, and legitimises it, in the context of climate change.
