I just had an interaction on with somebody that left me legitimately rattled so:
If, when you raise a problem with a partner, they deny having done so and accuse you of having done it
If they throw things during arguments, even if not *at you*
If you don't feel safe from their outbursts when you share things important to you
If they shower you in affection when things are bad
If you don't feel safe at home
That's the cycle of domestic abuse and control. Your partner is abusing you.
