The chief mistake is metadata for private messages. Then trying to integrate naming services with crypto currencies is just rife for abuse, and compromises privacy, linking a nostr identity to crypto currency activity. This allows to build a graph linking parties to their nostr accounts and to all their crypto currency blockchain history. We might call these mistakes. Or we might suspect that was the plan.
