The native X server is effectively unmaintained upstream and we do not offer support for it on our platform. You are welcome to install it if you wish, but there are several known bugs and limitations when using it on our hardware. Please don't file bugs with us, we do not offer support for native Xorg.
Those wishing to use legacy X-only window managers are encouraged to run rootful XWayland inside a minimal Wayland compositor and run their window manager there. This combination is not packaged/integrated for easy usage in distributions since nobody has really volunteered to make it so, but XWayland *is* supported and this approach is the only viable long-term one for this use case (and is recommended by the X and FreeDesktop developers themselves).
