The XFCE4 Terminal is the closest to actually usable I found but it cuts off text once i apply scale-to-fit and I can't find a way to prevent that. Other than that it's very similar to Gnome Terminal but with the addition of a menu bar at the top that includes copy/paste, not ideal but actually working!
