Something that seemed ridiculously large seemed to think getting under my tub was a good idea. It sounded like it had a fight with something else, which is what alerted me to it's existence. I only had a few things on hand to attempt to dissuade it- wood vinegar, peppermint oil, banging on various parts of my house to try and get it to go away.

What seemed to work though- I took a shower. This was in part, inspired by the dastardly creature, because I certainly worked up a sweat trying to get it to leave. It made a sort of hissing noise and sounded dangerous, but after the shower, I haven't heard that sound again- even though I tried banging again.

It either left, or decided to shut up. Hopefully, it didn't have fleas or anything contagious.
