In the late 90's or very early 00's there was a local TV channel broadcasting porn on Friday nights, and it wasn't even that late (maybe Saturdays at 1 AM), and satellite channel Canal+ that also broadcasted porn on Saturday nights (more like Sundays around 1 AM too), but encrypted.
There was also another regional channel that had something like a hook-up message board (people sent SMS to a premium number with a little description of what they were and what they were looking for) and the background was a porn video. At the beginning it was a woman doing mild erotic moves, bit of striping, but as time went by it was more explicit sex.
My male classmates would record (on VHS tapes) the local and regional channels' films and share the tapes.
The day they discovered that I was able to record whatever that was broadcast on C+ (because I had the VHS between the decoder and the TV) they began a campaign of harassment with bribery attempts, and even threats to make me record the films for them.
I refused to do it. We were around 12-13 y.o.
A couple years later porn was everywhere. I remember downloading a Disney movie with emule and it was porn. It happened time and time again.
