I enjoy how people are spending so much time making algorithms as if the increased engagement of the fedi isn’t already proven: a result of a transparent algorithm that pushes direct to your followers with no stops in between.
But you can’t monetize and sell “more reach” that way, your reach is already maximized, so for capitalism it’s a nonstarter.
