While I'm on the topic of ace stuff, I don't think I've ever talked about my own coming out regarding that. I've known that I'm ace for a very long time, it's just the only thing that really matched my experience, but when I tried to explain it to my mom she just kinda nodded and didn't seem to understand at all. Her jokes about wanting grandchildren or whatever also didn't stop after that and they never seemed to actually get it at all.
