Yup. The problems that I ran into were that: 1) Many contacts didn't have NIP-65 available; and 2) There is a centralizing factor for NIP-65 events for efficiency, so you don't need to ask a thousand relays for the latest info for a thousand plus contacts.
Still curious if there could be a query to a relay for NIP-65 listings where if they didn't have it, they could ask their neighbors for it, that they are already connected. This however assumes there is a network topology and a peer-to-peer network between relay to relay to sync those events to each other.
