A question for people with aphantasia: how do you find things?
When I'm looking for something I fix an image of it in my mind and scan through my environment until my brain goes "ping! we have a match."
How does finding lost items work for aphantasiacs? Do you have to consciously engage with each item ("no, that's not it") or does your brain somehow scan visually to cross-match with a non-visual mental record?
