Here's a quick and easy thing you can do to fight Trump's politicization of the civil service. He's trying to vastly expand the number of political appointees and fire experienced people. In less than 5 minutes you can comment on the new proposed rule that would do this.

Here's my comment:

"Despite its name, this measure would not improve performance, responsibility or accountability. It violates a key principle of civil service, namely that career employees should be promoted on the basis of performance and protected against political coercion. This measure will vastly expand the number of political appointees. This will deprive us of competent, experienced staff by replacing them with inexperienced partisan loyalists, either Democratic or Republican, depending on the administration."
