Drats, foiled again!!
A Cooper’s hawk disappointed to see me guarding the little breakfast party of songbirds. I don’t think this is one of the three spring fledglings, I think this is mama hawk herself. I feel for the hawks, I get it - they have to eat too. But we are butted up against a large area of open space/wilderness so, you know, go hunt there please.
