I was thinking that UTXOs are like the bronchioles at the end of the lungs' airways.

It's probably more correct to say private keys are like the alveoli of the human/energy interface of Bitcoin.

The more surface area of alveoli, the healthier the human will be.

Things that increase alveoli of private keys:
--self-custody
--sharing multi sig keys with more people

Things that decrease alveoli:
--bitcoin in treasuries whose custodianship is intermediated by legal structures (ETFs, company treasuries)

As Jason Lowery says, laws are subject to change in times of war, so legal structures can be swept away. Perhaps there could be "in-kind" legal structures that would permit the private keys to remain distributed in as many human hands as possible, while giving benefit of legal tax structures. If a bitcoin holder is located in a certain jurisdiction, there would be value in incentivizing that.

By increasing the "alveoli" or private key ownership, the more power is wielded by greater numbers of humans. The kinetic force of war is counter-balanced by each human's guardianship of his or her own life energy.
