I did get the chance to visit an Irish pub in Tokyo and it had a really nice atmosphere, although no live music. It’s rare to find a pub in America these days that let you smoke indoors, but at the pub in Japan I was able to smoke my pipe while enjoying my drink at the bar.
I will say though that all the drinks in Japan are much weaker than what I am used to at home or from pubs i’ve visited across Europe.
