Back on newspapers.com again and noticing the language. In the South Carolina papers anyway, no one says "Civil War." In papers from the 1970's I saw it called "The War Between The States" and also just "the war of 1861-1865." Like, has no one decided what to call it yet? Or is this some Southern resistance to calling it the Civil War?
