I just put a bead on the line so I can throw the breeders back. If I don't feel like digging fleas Ill just use a weighted hook and Fishbites in orange. This works great with ultralight surf fishing.
Ultralight surf fishing, light rod and no gear, allows you to walk the beach and be friendly with the locals. There are some lonely old women in those big Atlantic shore homes. 😉
