I actually agree with you completely. media is the number 1 thing ive wanted to get into astral for months now but haven't found the time.
however, i think i have slight ocd in that i am extremely particular. and wrt media my deal breaker criteria with astral is if user can't self host it i don't want to spend my limited resources implementing it. and now that there are so many other great web clients i feel less pressure to implement in a rush.
and just from my own experience, evolve as needed from legacy infra is easier said than done 😂
lastly i want to say thank you for all that you are building for nostr 🙏🙏🙏. i think nostr.build is a sorely needed service and you guys have made nostr so much more lively. appreciate what you guys are doing very very much.
