It depends on your vision:
I experienced people are interested in privacy but too lazy to change.
If you wanna reach people outside our bubble than we might think about which advantages should be emphasized. I was able to convinced people showing them benefits beside privacy which they could not find at their current software/hardware. I would argue that privacy should be more a feature than a product.
