"content": "nope, still a thing, but our models got better in recent years (well, recent relative to the age of most CIE models, which is like... the 1930s to 1950s). the Stockman \u0026 Sharpe CMFs from 2000 improved things a whole bunch, and there's a new proposed model from 2015 (CIE 170-2) which hasn't been fully ratified yet but tweaks things to fit newer studies. there are also special variants for stuff like scotopic vision, and datasets for normative vision variation.",
