Saw somebody use "technocrat" in the sense of "rule by tech bros". This annoys me hugely, because I advocate actual technocracy in the dictionary sense: make political decisions about *what* you want to achieve, but let experts figure out *how* to achieve it. Never give the voters the opportunity to choose popular methods.
