"content": "Good morning nostr friends, i woke up a little late, but its Sunday so its all good. This morning we'll be heading to church, then to a lunch gathering with some family later. Our bnb guests will be checking out today, but i doubt that i'll have time to start the turnover, so i'll just do that tomorrow. \nFor any of you who have short term rentals, think of a value-add that you could offer your guests. You have a captive audience while they are there. Not all our guests buy our homemade items we have for sale in the cabin, but many do. Sometimes its just a couple bars of my soap, but we've had some guests leave us over $100 for our items. There is a shelf in the cabin that has my homemade soaps, comfrey salve, lip balm, and also my husbands cedar wood items. Oh and i also leave a few cartons of our chicken eggs in the fridge, marked for sale. Of course, there are also eggs in there for them to eat during their stay, so they can try them. Just some ideas to make a little extra cash.
