where do you go to find information about iptables? so far I have:

- man iptables / man iptables-extensions
- stack overflow :(
- the linux kernel source??
there are a bunch of links here but a lot of them seem to be 20 years old and it's hard to know what to trust https://www.netfilter.org/documentation/
