In the United States military bases you will see the use of steam. I'm not sure how much is still in use. My grandfather worked as a mechanical engineer for the Air Force and they had all kinds of steam mechanisms.

Yeah, just blanket statements against the Soviet Union are ignorant. My wife was born there. I asked her about the bread lines and she said it was true. I asked her why and she said, because the bread was fresh.
There is a logic to humanism that facilitates people to live better. There is also a point where this becames the focal point of ones life and it all gets destroyed by ego.
