I’m not bullish on squeezing long-form content into a microblogging platform, whether on Mastodon or X.
Ooh, I’ve been saying that.
Some “social readers” get it right, mostly. Displaying notes and quick replies alongside long-form content, and photo posts, and so on.
Although I kinda like just RSS (plus maybe a like or reply button that lets me post to my own site).
