North will take me along the storm's path through the Mohave into Nevada. West takes me toward the storm until I can read a highway that leads into northern CA & the traffic will likely be bad. South is out. East is really the safest route from where I live. I'm not thrilled with the idea as it's supposed to be raining there too, but at least I won't be in SoCal's newest lake.
