Okay, hold on. It’s certainly not great when a someone is cut off from using a service/tool they rely on, and points to the necessity of decentralized communication options.
It is also POSSIBLE that these people WERE violating Microsoft’s TOS in a variety of ways. But, more importantly, do we even know how many people have been allegedly cut off? How many people has the BBC interviewed for this story? I read the article (https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cger582weplo) and it doesn’t even say how many people are affected! It could be 3 people making an accusation for all we know, and the BBC is running with it because it’ll get engagement.
To jump with both feet into accusing (((them))) of working in the background to pressure the corporation is simply conspiratorial, brain worm bullshit. Don’t do it.
Also note, from this article, “The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says more than 38,000 people have been killed in the war.” Why are they still publishing that number when Hamas, itself, has revised that number down by 50% last month?
You guys, seriously. The tragedy of this conflict is already bad enough without spreading lies and making shit up.
