I see that makes a lot more sense! So they account for the cost of maintaining and balancing the grid in that cost.
For what it's worth we're around 0.11 (off peak) to 0.25 (peak) euros to the kWh all year round. But we get a flat fee of around 20€ a month for being connected to the grid, and that cost increases with the power you subscribe to (like 9kVA or something like that)
