Oh wow! I made sure that the "RStudio Keymap" extension was installed in #Positron, and I could have sworn it was enabled, but definitely go to File > Preferences > Settings > Extensions > RStudio Keymap > Enable if you're coming from RStudio to Positron! I'm really sad that that wasn't the default! Evidently they were trying to avoid conflicts, but "ctrl-d and f2 don't work, even though the shortcuts interface says they should" was going to stop me from switching full-time!
