Two weeks ago I traveled near the Baltic sea in Germany to a little place called Yvenack, where you can find some of the oldest oaks in Europe. Some are around 1000 years old. It was amazing to walk there and think of all the history they've witnessed. I can't describe my feelings when I hugged the oldest one. That was pure energy! There's so much live in an oak, it's the tree with the highest biodiversity. And it feels solid and strong, and smells gorgeous!
