My son just moved into his dorm room at Liberty University today. My husband, when buying a few things my son still needed, went a little crazy buying the family Liberty University stuff.. I think it was his way of coping with our son leaving home.

I am so proud of my son. He will do amazing and be a total success. I just hope we can survive his leaving. We're all going to miss him so much. We are still trying to get my youngest, who has Down Syndrome, to understand that his big brother may never live with us again (although hwe might have a few summers and a few Christmas breaks left with us). My husband and I are going to seriously miss our son, but my youngest is probably going to have a very hard time adjusting to his brother being gone. He doesn't fully understand at this point.
